🎯 The Goal
Every day there is a new Word of the Day — a 5-letter word. Your job is to figure out what it is by guessing words and using the numerical feedback to narrow it down.
You win when you guess the exact word. The fewer guesses it takes, the better!
📋 Step-by-Step Instructions
- Enter any valid 5-letter word as your first guess.
- After submitting, you'll receive a number between 0 and 5. This number tells you how many letters in your guess are in the correct position compared to the Word of the Day.
- Use that number to think about which letters might be right, and adjust your next guess accordingly.
- Keep guessing. Each number gives you more information to work with.
- When your score is 5, every letter is in the right place — you've solved it!

Let's say the Word of the Day is PLANT. Here's how a round might look:

Guess 1: BROWN
0 letters are in the correct position. None of B, R, O, W, N match where they sit in the answer.
Guess 2: PLAIT
4 letters are in the correct position: P, L, A, and T are all correct. Only the 4th letter is wrong — swap out I for something else!
Guess 3: PLANT

🧠 Tips & Strategy
Start broad
Your first guess should cover common letters like A, E, R, S, T. This gives you the most useful feedback right away.
Think in positions
The number tells you how many letters are right, not which ones. Try swapping one letter at a time to isolate what's correct.
Use a 0 to your advantage
A score of 0 is actually very useful — it tells you that none of those 5 letters belong in those positions.
Build on high scores
If you score a 4, you're one letter away. Try keeping 4 letters the same and changing just the one that doesn't fit.

Is there a new word every day?
Yes! The Word of the Day changes at midnight. Everyone in the world plays the same word each day, so you can compare results with friends.
Does the number count letters in the wrong position?
No — unlike Wordle's yellow tiles, the number only counts letters that are in the exact correct position. A letter that exists in the word but is in the wrong spot does not add to your score.
How many guesses do I get?
Keep guessing until you solve it! There's no hard limit on guesses — the challenge is to solve it in as few as possible.
Can I share my result?
